Thousands of fans made the most of the opportunity to watch Colin Calderwood put his players through their paces in training at the Club's annual Open Day.

The 45-minute open training session at The City Ground was the highlight of the day, which attracted a crowd in the region of 10,000.

Amy Sutton, the Club's PR Executive, said: "Training sessions are usually carried out behind closed-doors and the fans I've spoken to really enjoyed watching how the lads work and prepare."

Supporters also had the chance to collect autographs and tour areas of the stadium that are usually off limits to the public.

BBC Radio Nottingham offered fans the chance to try their hand at football commentating, while Trent FM's 'Thunder' girls handed out goodies.

And for the first time members of the Club's Football in the Community staff staged coaching sessions for youngsters at the first team training ground.

Our photographers were out and about on the day and you can see some of our photographs in our Photo Gallery.
