Keeping his eye on the ball has paid off for one lucky Forest fan. Mr Ray Sporton has netted a big soccer prize with Littlewoods Football Pools after scoring £20,000.

The lucky Nottingham resident, scooped the cash after playing the world famous Spot the Ball game when his keen eye for the ball hit the spot. Mr Sporton celebrated in style receiving his winning cheque of £20,000 at his local football club Nottingham Forest FC.

Ray comments: "I was absolutely delighted when I got the call. I have played with Littlewoods Football Pools, for 40 years and it feels fantastic to win! I think I will be treating myself to a new bathroom suite and I have already bo0ked my first holiday - a cruise!"

Half a million people play a variety of Littlewoods Football Pools games every week including Premier 10, Spot the Ball, Lotto and the main Pools game.
