The County Air Ambulance has become the latest charity to benefit from the inaugural Brian Clough Trophy game between Nottingham Forest and Derby County earlier this year.

The game at Pride Park in July raised £100,000 - £12,500 of which has been donated to the Air Ambulance.

The legendary manager's widow, Barbara, is pictured presenting a cheque to members of the Air Ambulance's flight crew at East Midlands Airport.

Also pictured are Forest's Chief Executive Mark Arthur and John Vickers, Derby County's Operations Director.

The County Air Ambulance operates from bases at East Midlands Airport, RAF Cosford and Strensham North Services on the M5.

The cost of running and maintaining the current level of operations stand at £3.5million - for which the County Air Ambulance relies entirely on the general public for voluntary donations as it receives no government or lottery funding.
