Talent From Trash Results
Mon 03 Mar 2008
The Nottingham Forest Academy has been boosted by a cash donation of £10,500 - thanks to Coca-Cola's Talent from Trash promotion.
The initiative encouraged supporters to pledge to recycle household waste and in doing so earn money for the club's Academy set-up.
Academy Director Nick Marshall gratefully accepted the windfall, declaring: "It's another tremendous effort from the Forest faithful and the money we can generate through promotions such as this helps us to produce the next crop of Forest players.
"We're once again seeing the emergence of this talent in the first team this season, and with extra funds like this we will continue to build the future of Forest."
Paul Musson was the most dedicated to the cause as he pledged the highest number of times over the 12-week promotion period, winning himself a signed Forest shirt, which will be presented to him before the club's League One game with Walsall on March 15th.
Congratulations to Paul and a massive thank you to everyone who pledged to recycle.
