Waiting On Kris
Sat 29 Mar 2008
Kris Commons is still a cause for concern for Colin Calderwood ahead of Nottingham Forest's date with promotion rivals Doncaster at The Keepmoat Stadium tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
The key midfielder is nursing a thigh injury and is regarded as a doubt, although Calderwood hopes he will still be available.
Commons will undergo a late fitness test before the manager finalises his line-up for Forest's first ever appearance at The Keepmoat.
The Reds will definitely be without the suspended James Perch and injured Arron Davies and their preparations for the game were overshadowed by an unfortunate injury to Dimitrios Konstantopoulos.
The Greek goalkeeper checked-in at The City Ground earlier this week on loan from Coventry for the remainder of the season but, in his first training session with the club yesterday, ruptured an Achilles tendon.
He must undergo surgery and will not play again this term.
