Colin Calderwood's lengthy pursuit of the talented midfielder finally came to fruition in the summer of 2007.
Calderwood had long harboured ambitions of signing Cohen for Forest and tried in vein to take him to The City Ground during the January transfer window.
But he eventually got his man in July (ironically, after Cohen had helped Yeovil knock Forest out of the play-offs) when he checked-in at the Club in a double deal that also saw Arron Davies swop Huish Park for Trentside.
A classy play-maker, Cohen started his career with West Ham, making 18 league appearances for the east London club.
He had a hugely successful loan spell with Yeovil before completing a permanent move in the summer of 2006 and repeatedly showed the kind of skills that many in the game believe will earn him a return to the Premiership in the future.
