The Republic of Ireland Under 19 goalkeeper joined the Forest Academy from Cherry Orchard in 2005.

He has represented Forest at Under 18 and reserve level and was on the bench for their F.A. Cup game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last season.

He was elevated to the first team squad again in February '08 to act as cover for first choice Paul Smith and player-coach Barry Richardson.

Redmond has represented his country at various age levels.
