The pacey striker emerged on the first team stage at the start of the season after impressing manager Colin Calderwood during pre-season.
He made his senior debut as a substitute in a Carling Cup tie against Chester and showed great maturity to dispatch the winning spot-kick in the penalty shoot-out.
He then got his first taste of life in League One as a substitute at Swansea a few days later, although he was only introduced to the action in the dying seconds of the game.
Sinclair joined the Forest Academy last season after being released by Bradford City and wasted little time in making an impact at under 18 level.
He stepped up to the reserve side towards the end of his first campaign at The City Ground and opened his goal account at that level.
