The exciting winger joined Forest from non-league Bromley during the January transfer window and is determined to make the most of his chance in full-time football.
McCleary had a spell on Oxford United's books as a youngster but made quite a name for himself with Slough Town and then Bromley, where he caught the eye of Forest scouts.
He had a spell on trial at The City Ground - during which time he played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Notts County - and did well enough to earn a contract with the club.
He marked his first public appearance for Forest with a wonder goal in a reserve win at Shrewsbury in February.
And he made his first team debut at The City Ground against Carlisle and his first start against Cheltenham where he made an excellent impression on the Forest fans.
