Nottingham Forest 4 - 0 Bradford
Nottingham Forest's reserve side eased to victory over Bradford at The City Ground - with a four-goal first half blitz.
John Pemberton's table-topping side got off to a perfect start with a goal from Ben Fairclough after just 21 seconds.
And the game was effectively over as a contest by the break after James Reid, Emile Sinclair and Mark Byrne had added to Bradford's problems.
The win extended Forest's unbeaten run this season to an impressive16 matches and victory against Oldham at The City Ground next Wednesday(7:00pm) will see them clinch the Pontin's Central League title.
Fairclough's composed finish, after good work by Reid, set Forest on their way to their latest success.
Reid turned goal-scorer in the 29th minute as he curled home a left-footed effort from the edge of the area to give Pemberton's men a 2-0 lead.
Sinclair added to his former club's worries three minutes later, firing home after his initial effort and Fairclough's follow-up had been blocked by the visiting 'keeper Ben Saynor.
Byrne capped a hugely impressive first half display as he pounced to bagging Forest's fourth after Saynor had only parried a Fairclough shot.
The Reds found Bradford a tougher nut to crack after the break - although Garath McCleary, Alan Power and substitute Liam Hook all came close to adding to the scoring.
David Brown, who had a spell on Forest's books earlier this season after being released by Leeds, came closest to snatching a consolation goal for Bradford as he volleyed against the bar in the closing stages.
