Huddersfield Town 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest
Two late goals from Huddersfield Town consigned Nottingham Forest reserves to their first defeat of the season in the Pontin's Central League.
Goals from Luke Beckett and substitute Lewis Nightingale ended Forest's 19-match unbeaten run at the Galpharm Stadium last night.
Despite the result, there was a positive to emerge from the trip to West Yorkshire with loan striker Will Hoskins hitting the comeback trail after almost two months on the sidelines with a back problem.
Hoskins, who is on loan at The City Ground from Watford, came through a 70-minute run-out against a strong Huddersfield line-up.
The home side included the likes of Frank Sinclair, Beckett, Danny Schofield, Malvin Kamara and Joe Skarz in their line-up.
And it was Beckett who broke the deadlock 11 minutes from time, heading home from a cross from the right, before Nightingale sealed victory two minutes from time with a close-range tap-in.
Forest had chances themselves - Matt Thornhill hit the bar, Hoskins and Hamza Bencherif forced the Huddersfield 'keeper into making good saves and Ben Fairclough also went close.
