Made 24 appearances for Forest during 1981-82, leaving due to injury. He made a comeback in Norway in 1984 and played for his hometown Moss from 1984-87. He is now living in Moss, working in a bank and plays a lot of golf. His son also plays football.

Appeared 176 times between 1960 and 1967, scoring 69 goals. Was manager of Forest Green Rovers but in February 2004 took over as Director of Football at Barry town FC but resigned in August 2004. Is currently living in Hereford and is a pundit for BBC Wales.

Truly one of Forest's greats, he played 425 games between 1974 and 1984. Finished his playing career at Sheffield Wednesday and went briefly into management as the no. 2 at Middlesbrough. No longer directly involved in the game, he runs a sports events company.

Signed as an apprentice in 1970 and made just 2 appearances before moving to Huddersfield in 1975. Played for a number of clubs before retiring due to an arthritic neck in 1988. He took up refereeing and made the Football League list. He retired at the end of the 2002-03 season.

Made just 3 first team appearances for Forest between 1964 and 1966. Went on to play 112 League games for Notts County. Lives near Bingham and spends much of his spare time on the golf course.

Signed as a replacement for Teddy Sherringham, he played briefly for Forest in 1992-93 before moving on to Stoke. Now lives in St Ives, Cornwall and coaches Porthleven, one of the best Cornish sides. He also has an interest in two guest houses.

Signed from Arsenal in March 1964 and sored 25 goals in 201 appearances for Forest. Joined Sheffield United before tetiring as a player in 1971. After numerous jobs in football management he became Chief Executive of the Football League Managers Association in 1996 and is still there today.

Played as a defender for Forest during the '70s, making 94 appearances before moving to Swindon Town. Played in winning League Cup side in 1979. Has for some time now worked successfully as a painter and decorator in the Southwell area.

Played for Forest from 1993-1997 making 15 first team appearances. Joined Chesterfield but was forced to retire, age 32, for medical reasons in October 2006 following a back injury. Ron Blackman He was Reading's most prolific goalscorer before moving to Forest in 1954. Sold for financial reasons, Forest was the low point in his career and he only made 11 appearances for the club. He is now retired and living in Portchester in Hampshire. He still gets many visits from Reading supporters.

Signed from Young Boys Berne in 1993, he went to Blackburn Rovers in 1995 and then on to Derby County (making him unpopular with the fans) where he played until the 2002-03 season. He played for Danish club Lyngby and FC Nordsjaelland before returning to Norway and Valerenga where he bacame assistant coach. In January 2007 he became Sports Director in Stabęk Fotball in the Norwegian Premier League.

Returned to France to run a restaurant but then signed for FC Zurich. Now owns a restaurant in France. It would appear (with my limited French translation) that he is also now manager of La Roche-Sur-Yon in Group D of the French Amateur League.
Colin Booth Joined Forest from Wolves in October 1959, making 98 appearances (41goals) before moving on to Doncaster Rovers at the end of the 1961/62 season. Played for Oxford United until 1966 and played a couple of games for Cambridge United in the 1967-68 season. His goalscoring record was superb throughout his career - 145 goals in 301 games. Along with Billy Walker he still co-holds the record for individual scoring against Arsenal (4 in a 5-2 win in 1956). On retiring he built a career in healthcare. Aged 71 (in 2006), he lives in retirement in Dorset.

Joined Forest from QPR in 1979, leaving for Leyton Orient after just 7 months in 1980. Worked as a part-time coach in the mid 1990s. He has just released his autobiography (Sept 04). In it, he says at the moment he is writing several columns for football magazines - including a monthly gambling column in the monthly football magazine 442 - as well as doing some hospitality work at QPR.

Left in 2005 and was appointed assistant manager to Paul Hart at Rushden and Diamonds in 2006 but both were given the boot in the October. Is now working with Portsmouth FC in a scouting capacity, frequently travelling to the continent.

Barry Butlin Made 88 appearances and scored 20 goals for Forest in the 1970s. His career also included Notts County, Derby Co, Luton Town and Sheffield United. He retired from the game in 1981. Is now an independent financial adviser with C Alexander & Partners in Sherwood and lives in Derby.

Appointed manager of Burton Albion in October 1998. Played for Forest from 1984 making 311 appearances and scoring 101 goals before joining Liverpool in June 1993 for £2.3 million. An injury hit three years at Anfield saw him move to Manchester City. Injury forced him to retire and he took over at Burton Albion. In the 2001-02 season he led the club to the Unibond Premier League title.

Played at Forest from 1960 - 1963. He scored Forest's first goal in Europe against Valencia at the City Ground in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. He was the landlord of the Sherwood Inn on Mansfield Road for 20 years. Now works as overnight manager / chief barman at the Best Western Hotel, The Westminster, on Mansfield Road.

Worked as a scout for Liverpool and became Manager of Cowdenbeath for 10 days in Dec. 2000. He was sacked without the team playing a single game. Went to Greenock Morton from July 2001-March 2002.
John Cottam Defender made 108 appearances for Forest. Signed as trainee in 1966 and went to Chester in 1979. Was player-manager at Scarborough from 1982-84. Is now a sergeant in the Metropolitan Police in London.

Played for Forest in 1998-99 and went on to Lorient and then to Bordeaux . Returned to Britain in May 2007, signing a two-year contract with Glasgow Rangers.

Played as a winger from 1972-75 but Brian Clough replaced him with John Robertson. Returned to his home country of Ireland in the early 1980s. In the summer of 2007 he suffered a serious assault and was in hospital for several months before being discharged to the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoghaire where he remains. Bill Farmer A goalkeeper who, during the mid-fifties, made 56 appearances for Forest before moving to Brush Sports, Loughborough. He was born in Guernsey and according to his nephew is now, at the age of 79, living in retirement near Northampton.

An FA Cup winner with Forest in 1959 he had a successful career with a number of clubs, making 506 League appearances in all. He had a successful spell as manager of Millwall and later he managed Notts County. He became a groundsman at Forest in the 1970s.
For many years he had a shop in Wollaton and until recently his name (in red !!) remained above the premises, although he had long retired.
He now lives in Aspley and still hits a golf ball "straight down the middle".

Played 1963-67 making 122 appearances. Lives in Seattle, Washington. Left England in 1977 and has had an impressive coaching career at various clubs across the USA and Canada up until the mid 90s, finishing up at the Seattle Sounders. He now works in Seattle as an estate agent.

Played 171 league games over six seasons at the City Ground after signing from Rosenborg in 1997. Hjelde then joined Mansfield in 2005, where he played 59 times. In December 2007 he decided to retire back to his home country of Norway after being unable to find a new club.

Glyn Hodges has been named as the new manager of the Welsh under-21 team. Hodges made five appearances for Forest in 1998-99. He has latterly been coaching at Barnsley.
Dave Hollins A goalkeeper who played 9 games for Forest on loan from Mansfield in 1970. He is now living in Guildford Surrey. He was a painter and decorator before he retired and is currently spending much of his time these days playing bowls.
